Xara - ANY Pronouns

Xara is a filmmaker, activist and Latino-futurist. Once a Provo, Utah art kid, Xara found refuge in Portland in 2015 where she began studying film and gender studies. 

After coming out, she fell in love with “finger flagging” and began doing her own Gel-X one-handed extensions! For Xara, it’s incredible to wear her queerness so openly and became a nail artist as a way to uplift and share in community with fellow finger flaggers! 

Xara was an art forger in a previous life so she loves fabrication and recreating nail looks to the smallest detail, but give her a mood board and a little caffeine and she’ll create something totally out of this world! 

When she’s not slaying your nails, you can find Xara crafting with her friends, cuddling her 3 year old Xoloitzcuintli, or working on her experimental futurist films!
